KMCng - Analytics - Errors in UI

Like the following POST:

We’re having similar issue with out analytics. Analytics page has multiple popups that say " Error Internal server error occurred". Here’s our output from the following commands:

# rpm -q kaltura-base kaltura-html5-analytics
kaltura-base-14.19.0-12.noarch
kaltura-html5-analytics-v0.2-2.noarch

# grep kmc_analytics_version /opt/kaltura/app/configurations/base.ini
kmc_analytics_version** = v0.2

Please help. Thanks.

Hello @mudassir,

What is the KMCng version?

$ rpm -q kaltura-kmcng

Also, is it possible that the druid_url directive is enabled in /opt/kaltura/app/configurations/local.ini? If so, please comment it out, reload Apache and retry. If it still doesn’t work, start by checking /opt/kaltura/log/kaltura_api_v3.log. Feel free to post your findings here for additional guidance.

Cheers

kaltura-kmcng-v5.8.0-1.noarch

The druid directive does not seem to be enabled as I don’t see any entry for it.

Here’s what logs say when I try to access Analytics:

Hello,

As you can see from the log you posted, tables critical to the analytics mechanism (aka DWH) do no exist.

Please review https://github.com/kaltura/platform-install-packages/blob/Orion-15.17.0/doc/kaltura-packages-faq.md#analytics-issues

And make sure to use MySQL <= 5.5 for this.
