ERROR: Couldn’t make an API request to http://10.30.32.61/api_v3/index.php?service=system&action=ping.
Please check your setup and then run /opt/kaltura/bin/kaltura-db-config.sh again.

Please Help me to resolve this issue.

OS: RHEL 6.4 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64
Arch : X86_64
MySql Version: mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.73, for redhat-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 5.1

Dear All,

Issue resolved, I just rebooted my machine and tried again.
But it will be helpful if you can find out the exact reason

Regards

Hello,

Your first attempt failed, as the output says, because the command:
# curl -f http://10.30.32.61/api_v3/index.php?service=system&action=ping
did not return as expected. This indicates the API cannot be reached.

Why that was I’m afraid I cannot tell you, seeing how now it works and we cannot debug something that doesn’t fail:)
Should you have additional issues, do let me know.

Hello,

Please, I would like to know some credentials to configure in moodle. While I was reading the manual I found:
“KAF Admin Console – please ask your Kaltura representative for credentials to access your KAF Admin Console instance.”

  • I already created an account in Kaltura Management Console.
  • I already installed Kaltura in my moodle.

Best regards,

Kevin Fabricio Calle Urgilez
