Is it possible to use captions in a Live stream in Kaltura using the Kaltura player?

Hi @lluisribes,

It is not possible to add captions to a live stream entry at the moment. If the video you are streaming has built in captions then they will show, of course.

I’ve tried live embedded 608 and 708 respectively from my Elemental Live encoder and not seeing any signs of captioning life on Kaltura Player. Works with Youtube, Facebook, JW Player, etc.

Kaltura, I assume you have this on your roadmap. Can you share with us any proposed release dates?
