Seems very simple question:
is there a way to install Kaltura CE on FreeBSD box?
i’m unable to found tar.gz distribution.
if there is no any way install to - okay.
Hello @mihail_karpych,
We do not provide FreeBSD pkgs. We only officially support Linux and provide both deb and RPM CE packages.
That said, you should be able to port to FreeBSD if you wanted to.
It will require work on your end but the installation code is completely open and so are the deb and RPM specs, from which you can deduce the needed dependencies for Kaltura CE and define the FreeBSD parallels. The ports project should have parallel packages for the PHP deps. For things like ffmpeg and Sphinx, you will need to package your own, in a similar way as we do with RPM and deb because we require very specific versions and compilation options.
If you do decide to do it, I’ll be happy to answer additional questions you may have.

Thx, jess, for your help.
i took https://github.com/kaltura/platform-install-packages/blob/Kajam-11.15.0/build/sources.rc
as first step.
going on list, and stuck at mencoder line.
as i understand - there is no source? only binary for linux?
and if you says that there is no support at all for FreeBSD, i think better take a linus as platform for production server.
Sorry for disturbing
