Error when trying to play video

Hi everyone, I’m a newbie and sorry if this kind of problem has been posted before, but so far I have only found problems with the URL’s port but this is not the case.

When I try to click and play any video from the player it fails but only on Android Devices that use Chrome. I get the following in the console:
GET https://kalhlspd-a.akamaihd.net/fhls/p/2093031/sp/209303100/serveFlavor/entryId/0_650s3w3e/v/2/flavorId/0_ixx47m9e/name/a.mp4/index.m3u8 404 (Not Found)

(index):1 Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: Failed to load because no supported source was found.

I assume is because of the URL source that is not found but… it plays correctly on iOS devices and desktop with no error logs on console. Do you have a clue or a possible solution for this?

Hi @Odysseus,

I suggest you upgrade to the latest [v2.69.5] and retest. You can upgrade the version for this player by going to KMC->Studio, inputting the UI conf ID for it in the search box and then clicking on “update”.

You did not specify the player version being used but there was recently an issue with playback on Android, which was fixed in v2.69.2 [see https://github.com/kaltura/mwEmbed/releases/tag/v2.69.2].

If, after upgrading to the latest version, the problem persist, please open a ticket with our support team.
