Change HLS manifest segment duration

Dear community,

we are running Kaltura CE 16.15.0 setup and I am trying to access assets via HLS. PlayManifest is fine and playback works. I there a way to set the default segment duration for the manifest other than 10 seconds?

I found a config in nginx for bootstrapping hls segments but I have not figured out where to adjust the default segment size. Anyone with an idea where to look?

You can change that on your kaltura-nginx confs.

Hi,
Have a look here.

Please remember that you should not configure very large manifests, according to Apple’s HLS definition. More than 60 secs will cause you trouble.
