I’m looking for any advice on the best (fast, accurate) way to obtain caption and subtitle SRT files for commercially produced films. As far as I can tell, there are two main methods: extract the file from the DVD or download it from a Web source such as opensubtitles.org. Does anyone have a preferred workflow for this process? Software?
