Universal Studio - Community Edition 10.12.0 - can not edit Player

Hello,

On KMC when I click Studio => Universal Studio => Player with no share button, to edit the player , I see only the right frame, Auto Preview, Preview changes, … and Save Player Settings, but the left frame is empty, I mean blank page.

Please check with an HTTP sniffer and see what errors you can find… also, run kaltlog on the server side from the shell and look for errors as well

Hello Saleh,
Such error could occur when the UIConf of the player you are trying to edit is corrupted. 2 questions:

  1. If you create a new player in Universal Studio - does it work as it should? (meaning you can see and edit the player)
  2. Are you able to edit the UIConf of the problematic player? If so, can you send me the config JSON field?

Hello Amir,

Thank for your reply. When I create a new player in Universal Studio, it’s work, meaning I can edit the player.

The problem happen only on the standard player from Kaltura, I mean the standard palyer from Kaltura when add new Publisher.

When I edit UIConf of the problematic player, I see empty “Config” on the “Edit UI Conf”

I too have noticed that none of the pre-made players worked ever in the Universal Studio on many different installs that I have done over the past couple of weeks.
