Access kaltura from remote LAN machine

Hi All,

I just finish installing kaltura 10. It works if i access the KMC on the local machine. But from remote machine on the same LAN its is not working. if i ping the kaltural ip from remote machine it replies. Can you please help.

What do you mean by “it is not working”?
Did you turn off the ip filtering (firewall)?

When i logon to another machine and try to access the kaltura http://server-ipaddress, i get page cant be found. Yes i turned off the firewall.

iptables -F
service iptables stop
chkconfig iptables off

Any errors in the log file (/opt/kaltura/logs)?
You can use kaltlog to tail the logs

I checked the log and i see a lot of :smile:
[authz_core:error] [pid 1796] Client denied by server configuration: /opt/kaltura/app/kmc, reference: http://server ip/index.php/kmc/kmc4

I checked the path /opt/kaltura/app/ but didnt see kmc
