Using the Moodle plugin with Kaltura CE

Hi,

I’m trying to use Kaltura Moodle plugin (Kaltura release 3.1.02 (RL: 2.6.1.1)) with Kaltura CE 9.19.4

Some parts work fine: MyMedia, File upload
But when I try to use videos in a course or blog the Kaltura repository is empty. I get this JSON reply in fiddler: {“nologin”:true,“nosearch”:true,“logouttext”:“not configured propertly”,“list”:[],“repo_id”:9}

Any ideas on how to proceed?

Sigurd Brinch

Hi Sigurd,

There is a port of Kaltura plugin to Moodle 2.7 available here:

You can also grab the other versions from there (2.0-2.6).

I hope this might help you,

Hi Jess,

Thanks for your reply

That is the version of the plugin I’m using. I apologize for not being more specific.
I’m running Moodle 2.7 with the 2.7-dev plugin from DBezemer.

Any other suggestions?

Sigurd

Hi Sigurd,

I am afraid I have no other general suggestions.
Would using KAF which is our commerical solution for Moodle be an option for you? that would of course mean support as well.

If not, perhaps you can get support from Panda OS [http://bamboo.panda-os.com]. They are a company that provides support and customizations for Kaltura CE.

Thanks Jess!
Hey Sigurd, please feel free to contact us at info@panda-os.com for any questions.
