Tempthumb not empty

Hello!

I have a kaltura platform (version 11.7.0) installed in cluster with remote storage (AWS S3) and external CDN (AWS CloudFront).
I don’t export the thumbnails on the remote storage, but they are saved on the nas.
Monitoring the nas free space I noticed that in:
/opt/kaltura/web/content/entry/tempthumb/

I have many directory and much more images (jpg files).

Since the directory is named “tempthumb”, it’s normal that kaltura don’t delete these files?

thanks in advance for your support

The tempthumb is used for caching thumbnails that generated on the fly using thumbnail action.
Like any cache, clean it if you have storage shortage and keep it if you want the thumbnails to be loaded faster.
