Kaltura_sphinx_searchd.log file growing due to errors occurring

Hi Jess

Apologies for the late response but been trying several things, and decided to redo everything from the start of this thread.

There is always 1 error that pops up. This time it appeared when I tried to restart the Sphinx Daemon.

failed to lock pid file ‘/opt/kaltura/sphinx/searchd.pid’: Resource temporarily unavailable (searchd already running?)

Thanks for your assisntance before! For some oddball reason, the logs stopped being generated and is seems to be fixed (?). At least it’s relatively stable and is not generating to the point the logs taking up Gigas of storage.
