I have a question about the iOS Kaltura API SDK - Native Client Libraries

The iOS Kaltura Client is using ASIHTTPRequest ->
http://allseeing-i.com/ASIHTTPRequest
which has not been updated since 2011. Will ASIHTTPRequest be replaced with something else soon?
What is the roadmap forward for the iOS Native Client Library?
