I works before then i can not install ce anymore, can anybody help?

i followed all the steps to install ce. but i keep getting failed it is very frustrating and it has been days. my environment is centos 7.

it keeps saying :
http://installrepo.kaltura.org/releases/latest/RPMS/noarch/ropodata/repomd.xml:[Errno 14] curl #56 - "Recv failure: Connection reset by peer"
Trying other mirror

One of the configured repositories failed (Kaltura Server arch independent). and yum donesn’t have enough cached date to continue .At this point the only safe thing yum can do is fail.

can any body help with this ?

is it that the repo has changed or something?

it used to work two or three days ago

Hi,

installrepo.kaltura.org is the CDN endpoint. You may be reaching an edge that is not fully synced.
Can you try editing /etc/yum.repos.d/kaltura.repo, replacing installrepo.kaltura.org with installrepo.origin.kaltura.org and then:
# yum clean all
and try again?

This would make YUM fetch from the CDN origin server instead of a CDN edge.

jess,

i tried as you said and the problem is still the same, I can see the xml file and still problem happens.
and other solutions?

Thank you

the this is that it worked several days ago. is it because the the new version has been released and no update in the github?

Hi,

Sorry but if making a request to http://installrepo.origin.kaltura.org/releases/latest/RPMS/noarch/ropodata/repomd.xml does not work from your machine, then the issue is on your side. You can use:
$ curl -I -v http://installrepo.origin.kaltura.org/releases/latest/RPMS/noarch/ropodata/repomd.xml
to further debug the issue and understand why that is but it’s not on our end.

jess

this is what i get

One of the configured repositories failed (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux 7 - x86_64),
and yum doesn’t have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only
safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work “fix” this:

 1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem.

 2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working
upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer
distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the
packages for the previous distribution release still work).

 3. Disable the repository, so yum won't use it by default. Yum will then
just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it again or use
    --enablerepo for temporary usage:

        yum-config-manager --disable epel

 4. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable.
Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands,
so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much
slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice
    compromise:

        yum-config-manager --save --setopt=epel.skip_if_unavailable=true
