Drop folder problem after upgrade

Hello,
After upgrading to kaltura 14.7 our sftp drop folder stopped working: We are getting this error:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>Log file is not ready: Error: The access to service [accessControl->list] is forbidden

Any help will be appreciated,

Hi @david.eusse,

The best place to start is the logs. In particular: /opt/kaltura/log/kaltura_api_v3.log and the relevant batch logs under /opt/kaltura/log/batch.

You may use the kaltlog and allkaltlog aliases to locate erroneous patterns. Once you have them, trace back to where the flow starts and paste the relevant log lines here so I can help you find the root cause.

It seems we had a tag syntax error with the accesscontolid :frowning:

The drop folder is working fin.

Hello Jess,

I am noticing that the batch process is not digesting de Accesscontrolid tag, as it was doing before the upgrade. If I exclude the tag, the entry is uploaded but it doesn’t get the default access control.

Weird. I’l check again what’s going on.
