Aspera integration with Kaltura CE

We need to integrate Aspera to a Kaltura CE on-prem install.

However, I been looking to all config files but couldn’t find any parameters associated with Aspera.

Has anyone be able to integrate Aspera with Kaltura CE? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Felipe. This is not so much of a direct integration. Basically, you’d need to have and Aspera server online for clients to push content to. You’d then have a script that monitors that inbound folder and utilizes the API to create entries for those files as they land. There would be some custom development involved.

Thanks for your response. Thats what we have concluded from our research on this matter.

We will create a DropFolder and use ascp (Aspera scp) to copy from Aspera on Cloud where our client will upload his videos. Is a three steps method but seems to be the easier way to go.
